Turklyn Pazaar is my new baby. Having my own business is something that I have always wanted. I was just unsure of exactly what business I wanted. After my fathers passing, I felt like it was now or never. I realized how short life was and there was no more room for excuses. I wanted to stay connected to my heritage since my father left. I still wanted to feel like I belonged to the country I grew to love and feel identified by. So off to Istanbul I went… to get inspired and to meet my connections. Now, here in L.A., I design my pieces and have them handcrafted by Turkish artisans in Istanbul. Some pieces are one of a kind, made with real beautiful gemstones cut into unique shapes. While others are hammered out and plated with bright, shiny, Turkish gold that looks great on a summer tan. The bags are vintage and are also one of a kind. They are made from kilim that dates back to over 60 + years with genuine leather. If you have some time, please come by and check out the site.
